Cherry Carpets is a leading provider of flooring services to the domestic and commercial markets, based near Bromley, South East London.

Due to expansion we are currently looking for a Flooring Estimator to join this friendly, family run operation.
The role involves visiting customers in their homes to help them choose the most appropriate flooring solution, and then provide a comprehensive quotation.
Our Flooring Estimators manage jobs from conception to completion, which involves managing a team of fitters.
The ideal candidate will have the ability to build a relationship with the customer ultimately converting the lead into a sale by focusing on providing exemplary customer service.
It is essential that applicants can demonstrate a strong commitment to the customer, and the ability to make good decisions and use their own initiative.
Cherry Carpets is a fast paced environment and the right individual will be able to adapt to changing priorities and manage their own workload.
This role would suit someone who has worked in the industry who is ready to take a step up into a role that is more autonomous and customer facing.
We are a growing professional Company and full training will be given on all the systems we have in place to manage different projects. These include Basecamp and Masterpiece.

Essential requirements:

• Previous experience within the flooring industry
• Full driving licence
• A passion for customer service
• A positive attitude
• Computer literate
• Excellent communication skills
• Persuasive, with the ability to provide the best advice for the customer
• Great attention to detail

Desirable requirements:

• Knowledge of a number of flooring products
• Experience of converting leads into sales
• Availability to work the occasional Saturday

Floor Fitter, South East London

It is essential that successful sub-contractors can demonstrate a strong commitment to the customer, as well as trustworthy and reliable behaviors.

Essential requirements:

• Your own set of tools
• Your own van
• An ability to demonstrate a strong track record as a fully competent floor fitter
• Good time-keeping
• Reliable

Desirable requirements:

• Ideally resident within 5 miles of Bromley

Flooring apprentice, South East London

The role involves visiting customers in their homes with the estimator to help them choose the most appropriate flooring solution, and then provide a comprehensive quotation. You will be working alongside both the carpet fitter and flooring estimator, getting to know and understand all aspects of the business.
Due to expansion we are currently looking an apprentice to join this friendly, family run operation.
We pride ourselves in providing exemplary customer service, and only contract individuals who reach our high expectations.
We are a growing professional Company and full training will be given on all the systems we use. These include management software including Basecamp and Masterpiece.
